The boat is pretty light, probably 165lb-180lb range and I bought it off a guy who used to put on top of his canopy on his truck. My boat has a 15" transom and like I said it is pretty light weight and probably comparable to a 14' starcraft.

The List -- Past and Present Boat Builders | River Daves Place

A couple of years ago I was having a discussion with some other very, very old timers in the boating industry, talking about California and Arizona boat builders past and present. And then it started....a list! We've probably overlooked a few, but maybe you can help and add a name or two. That is one of the major downfalls of a roller trailer. The other is that roller trailers load best when they are relatively shallow (compared to bunk) to maintain the boat position side to side and this requires a lot of winch cranking. What you can do is submerge the trailer further for launching than for retrieving ...

Plans for Building a Cantilever Boat Lift - any ideas?

Re: Plans for Building a Cantilever Boat Lift - any ideas? Just keep in mind Feet and Pounds, Ft-lbs. One pound of weight one foot away from the center of a cantilever exerts 1 Ft-lb of force on the arm, 10 ft away is 10#, 20 ft is 20# or 10# 1 foot away is 10#, or 20# 1 ft away is 20#.

How to adjust boat lift | Boating Forum - iboats Boating Forums

Pic of boat on the lift Pic of boat on the lift I've attached a pic of the lift with my boat on it. It works really well and can be bought right here at iboats. If you find leaking rivets you should re-buck them befor applying the gluvit. That 20hp motor might be a little small for that boat. Something in the 50hp range would probably be more sufficient.
